Having served in a variety of field and management positions throughout his 40-year career in the financial services industry, Dan possesses a strong base of knowledge, expertise, and first-hand experience with which to address the many issues confronting closely held business owners. In addition, Dan acquired, grew, and exited a financial services firm that gives him firsthand experience with these issues.

Prior to joining the Cornerstone team, Dan served as a Senior Wealth Planning Strategist with Wells Fargo Private Bank. In this position, he specialized in working with closely held business owners in the design and implementation of a customized and comprehensive business plan to address their specific goals and objectives.

Dan earned his Masters of Science in Financial Services from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. In addition, Dan holds the following professional designations: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter.



Mike is an experienced C-Suite executive in various industries domestically, along with international experience with a Fortune 100 company. With a strong eye for detail and strategic mindset, during his career he was actively involved with mergers and acquisitions and when the time was right decided to acquire a company for himself. As an entrepreneur, Mike organically grew the company from $2.7M to $22M in a four-year period, increasing the work force to over 200. He is known for his ability to identify deficiencies and initiate successful solutions to achieve company’s goals while developing high performing teams.

Mike joined Cornerstone with the goal of helping entrepreneurs properly prepare to exit their business realizing the greatest value for their life’s work. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
